We already have many bug-reports and suggestions and we believe we will get lots more from the very first release on. We work hard on fixing all reported bugs and act on suggestions as best we can, but it's impossible to do all at the same time. The same with the documents. The documents are not complete at all... we still have to enhance and enlarge the documents to relate to the FAME executables. You have bought FAME in an early stage and because of this not everything written here is 100% correct, but we work on it. @{u}@{b}Known undescribed parts in FAMEFileChecker.guide@{uu}@{ub} - None. @{b}@{u}Additional@{ub}@{uu} - FAMEFileChecker isn't 100% Complete. It does background file checkings, but FileId description and file postings to the conference will follow next. @endnode @REM============================================================================== @node "Contents" "FAME Amigaguide Developer Document - Contents" @{b}FAME FILECHECKER DOCUMENT CONTENTS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@{ub} @{" FAMEFileChecker ? FAMEFileChecker is able to check files in background while the upload continues:-if a file is completely uploaded, FAMEFileChecker will check it. The user can configure, if they don't like background checking, the background file check to file check after all files are uploaded. This mode will also automaticly used if the SysOp does local uploads. Normally FAMEFileChecker will be used as a background checker, because this saves lots of time. There is no longer waiting for long file checks after transfer of some megabytes. In the next update FAMEFileChecker will also be able to extract file descriptions (with external tools) and FAMEFileChecker will also be able to do a background posting of the files if there is a description available. FAMEFileChecker will execute all files in the directories: FAME:FileCheckers/FILEIDENT/ FAME:FileCheckers/FILECHECK/ FAME:FileCheckers/FILEIDENT/ is for external File_Id.diz extractor tools. FAME:FileCheckers/FILECHECK/ is for external file checkers. In both directories, scriptfiles (script bit set), and executables can be started. All scriptfiles/executables will use these arguments: Template for executables: NODENR/N/A,USERSLOT/N/A,FILEPATH/F/A @endnode @REM============================================================================== @node "Installation" "How to install FAMEFileChecker" @{b}How to install FAMEFileChecker ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@{ub} FAMEFileChecker will be automaticly installed if you install FAME.
