Private competition (I bestow 20.00 DM for the decisive hint!)
What is the reason, that my AmigaWriter (version 2.2) works perfectly at first and second sight except of the fact, that the font is scaled up extremely after a change of the zoom factor? When loading a file it still appears in normal size. After changing the zoom factor to a reasonable value the font is displayed in a magnitude of 600% to appr. 750%! Only the selection of the menu item "Druckbarer Bereich" ("Printable Range") creates a tolerable display (192%).
My config: Amiga 4000 PPC/233Mhz, OS3.5, GraKa Cybervision643D, now: Cybervision PPC, CGX 4.x, HP Deskjet 400
None of the several system patches installed creates the problem. Those possible sources of error I already eliminated by successive deactivation resp. by starting a "naked" system. The math libraries and the diskfont.library in use are the originals of WB 3.5. The error is to my believe in the range of the environment variables or so far down in the system, that I was not able to recognize it.
