Alright, there must be a squillion Pacman clones, but this is one of the worst I have seen.
There is just one level, which can be played at three degrees of difficulty. These degrees of difficulty just mean Pacman and the ghosts go faster. Control, never very precise, becomes even more unprecise.
The graphics are...well, it is a 1:1 copy from the arcade machine. The sound sounds as if it was loving recreated from pre-sample times.
The only positive of this game is that you can edit your own graphic sets. There may be creative users who never completed mouthman to get the secret of access to its level editor, but for everyone else it is absolutely not recommendable.
Conclusion: Anybody looking for a Pacman clone is better served with DeLuxe Pacman!

Well, at last a Tetris clone (grin)! As if there weren't enough of them...but actually this one is quite nice.
The installation is a bit complicated, read the manual carefully!
Klotz starts a window on a public screen and adjusts to the resolution.
The graphics are quite nice for a Styleguide-WB-game. There are some sound effects, you might remember from somewhere ;-)
Otherwise, classic treatment of the game, there are 10 levels, in which the boxes fall faster and faster. Each level speeds up too, the longer you stay alive.
Unfortunately the controls are a bit stiff...but you can control it by keyboard, joystick or CD³² pad.
Conclusion: Nice game for long copy procedures or boring work days.

The third clone for this month ;-) This time, a quite talented programmer took the ancient shooter Centipede and came up with a good result.
First: The game runs in OCS mode only.
For all of you who don't know the idea of the game: You move through a garden (?) and have to kill pests (caterpillars and other animals). The caterpillar is the main target and the most difficult to hit. Springing up everywhere are annoying mushrooms where the caterpillar makes a 180-degree turn. If you shoot off a part of the caterpillar, this also becomes a mushroom and the caterpillar divides.
The graphics are fine (for OCS). A nice rework of the original.
The sound is really humorous. If you know a bit about Amiga games you might recognise a few familiar samples, like De**rt Strike or Another World. The music...you should evaluate it yourself...
The controls of this game are a bit difficult, because you can only make "hacked" motions. I don't know if it is meant to be that way, or if my joystick is sick, or if the programmer did a sloppy job. Anyway, the controls make the game VERY difficult, but if you're of a certain personality type (like me) that just motivates you to keep at it.
If you play it a few times, you might find this game fun. In any case, it is good for playing in breaks.
Conclusion: The download is recommended, even if you don't like oldies.
