3. Great support from Haage & Partner (by Martin Cornelius)

At the World of Alternatives I bought AmigaWriter 2.0, with an eye to the PPC optimization. Back home, I installed the program, including the patch to 2.1 which I got at the show. The installation was problem-free. Quick glance at the manual and I was off - brilliant program, stable and fast. I wanted to print a template document via TurboPrint. Fast printer response, but a nearly empty page, with a »P« in the upper left corner. Checked all settings in AmigaWriter and TurboPrint, but nothing worked, even dropping back to Workbench drivers.

So an evening mail to H&P - and not one but two replies by forenoon, from Juergen Haage and Jochen Becher. After another three or four rapid return mails from Jochen, the fault was repaired.

My trusty Epson was not to blame - the fault was in TP7. H&P saved me a trip to Irseesoft - they inquired there by themselves and advised me to do the TP-update.

My conclusion: Haage & Partner are the greatest, they renew your faith in the Amiga market. Not only with their software, but with the very good and quick support. I thought this their service was worth this herogram.
