»After a private user meeting, last year, we want to make a public meeting, this year.
We, Goettingens Amiga User (GAU) invite you to this meeting.
The meeting will be held from September 30, 2000 through October 1, 2000. Guests are welcome from Saturday 1:00 p.m.
Of course, you can bring your computers.
The meeting will be in the "Alten Burse" in the Gosslerstrasse in Goettingen, Germany. Further informations about the meeting and a description how to find us will be on the homepage of Rudi (http://home.t-online.de/home/rudi.g/) in the next days.
Access to the show is free, because we don't have to pay for it, either. But for food and drinks we would like to get 10.00 DEM (approx. 5.10 Euros).
Those, who don't bring food with them, might keep this in mind. :-)
To be able to organize this we would like to ask you for a reservation. You can either contact Rudi "rudi.g@t-online.de" or me "andreas-v@gmx.de" directly.
Because we would also have some priority programs, we think of this:
1. Network between two Amigas 2. Network between Amiga and the PC (Windows or Linux), a Linux server will be present 3. Linux on the Amiga 4. Emulatores, the priority is the Mac 5. Games (also network games)
To have some motivation, we install a 100/10Mbit network (leased line). So, if you want to download something, you have to come. ;-)
Reservations are accepted until September 25, 2000. Room for sleeping in a sleeping bag is available.
The meeting will be a pure Amiga meeting, no Playstations etc.
