LUNATICS BALL - PD SECTION -------------------------------------------- Releasedate: This very short and obviously unfinished list got released as running number 1.0 on the 05.02.95 INSIGHTS: ========= Yet another commercial PD-company that has opened its gates to make money out of the scene's productions? Naaaw, really! TM(!)LB-PD SECTION is an initiative to keep the scene's spirit alive by leave oldies flourishing by storing and copying them to people who like some bits of nostalgy. The original concept was limited on sounddisks (compare STOLEN DATA #10, R.A.W. #6+7) in which I (RokDaZone/INFECT) gave people opportunity to order sounddisks from me. The response was overwhelming and soon I saw myself in front of two facts: - people still like to see the old releases - I suddenly had twenty packages of 10-30 disks each, to copy without getting anything out from it! People often "forgot" to send stuff to me in exchange - not too nice, you know. Especially when seeing that I had to pay the stamps back... Nowadays, I've expanded the idea to any kind of scenish stuff from intro to megademo, from messagebox to diskmag. What is also new (but quite understandable I guess) that I will protect myself from parasites (not the group), who think to have found a cheap copyslave in me. From now on, following rules are set up: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 1.) You may pick as many disks as you want. 2.) You have to send along the back porto. 3.) You have to send a fitting amount of ERRORFREE, EMPTY, FORMATTED disks on which I will copy the desired releases. 4.) Copycosts: 1 - 9 disks = 1,50 DM per disk 10 - 19 disks = 1,-- DM per disk 20 and more disks = 0,75 DM per disk These costs include envelopes (if needed), driving costs (my car needs gasoline to get to the postoffice) and cigarettes, coffe/Coke while copying. If anyone moans about this ridiculous payments, he should better think of my situation before... IMPORTANT: ========== I know that many releases have a line saying that it's not allowed to use the releases in commercial PD-section, but as this isn't commercially meant (how could one live with that income, eh?) I don't see the problem, really. I respect however that you have your right on what you produced so if anyone shouldn't like to see me having his release in my lists, he should drop me a line and I will delete it from the lists the very same day. I can't afford to contact each of you out there as every 40k-intro nowadays contain this copyright note. I will however accept only the veto from the CODER of the release. TO PD-LOVERS OUTSIDE GERMANY: ============================= - Cash or Eurocheque accepted only! - If you only want to get few disks and there is no banknote in your currency small enough, you can also send a fitting amount of EMPTY, FORMATTED HD-DISKS (means: Wanna have two disks, then send two DD-disks for the stuff and two HD-disks for my costs). - for back-postage ask your local postoffice for exchangeable coupons of the Universal Postal Union!
