   Hi there,

   Welcome to TrapDoor 1.86.b1. Finally!

   I know this one has taken ages, and I'm sorry for that. We intended to
get this version out much earlier, but many things kept holding us up.
Anyway, we finally managed to put this release together.

   Here are some suggestions on how to upgrade from a previous release of
TrapDoor:

   We have our standard directory structure for all Trap#? programs:

   MAIL:   -----+- Bin                       (executables)
   (config      |- Docs                      (manuals, documentation)
    files)      |- Scripts                   (shell scripts)
                |- Examples                  (example config files)
                |- Rexx                      (arexx scripts)
                |- Inbound                   (inbound mail and files)
                |- Outbound                  (outbound mail and files)
                |- Nodelist                  (nodelist, index and extra files)
                |- Matrix                    (netmail)
                |- Echo -+- TEST.area     \
                         |- TRAPDOOR.area  > (echomail areas)
                         |- [...]         /

   All TrapDoor/TrapToss/TrapScan/Trap#? distribution archives will follow
this directory structure. That way, you can always

	cd MAIL:
	LhA -a x TDxxx      ; extract Trap#? software

and the files will automatically be extracted to the correct location. Do
not forget the -a switch for LhA, which tells it to extract the proper file
protection bits too.

   You will find that most of the new options and configuration keywords
default to reasonable values, so you can just leave them out for the moment.

   If you are using a nodelist, you should not forget to install the new
traplist.library and the corresponding new TrapList.
