     Well, Happy New Year to all of you out in Net-Land.  There is of course
no better way to greet the coming 365 days then with a hardcore techno module
and I believe that this one fits the bill admirably.  Hopefully, this song
will provide you with many minutes of enjoyment =)

     First off, Domin8r will run on just about any Amiga.  It's a little
large so if you only have 512k you'll probably need to stop any memory 
hungry activities (like any type of multitasking).  You shouldn't have any
problems if you have a standard 1 meg chip Amiga.  In fact, I've listened
to this while modeming, with Darren Schebek's fabulous DESTracker (plug, 
plug).  And of course, this must be run in PAL mode.

     The song, "Dominator", as most connosieurs of techno are aware is a 
brilliantly noisy Techno tune by Human Resource.  This version, in contrast
is a brilliantly noisy Techno tune not by Human Resource.  This is
considerably different from the Human Resource version and in some ways,
superior.  The ego-boosting refrain is intact but the structure of the song
has been altered.  mod.Domin8r (or Domin8r.mod) can stand on it's own as a
piece of original music.  

     I would be remiss without acknowledging the substantial contribution
of the New Jersey mod producers KLF, without whom this module probably 
wouldn't have been made.  This is in fact a remix of their mix of the 
original.  To avoid any problems I'll list my alterations:

1> Improved samples:  Many of the samples used by KLF were quite poor due
   to their origin (an x86 system).  I attempted to clean them up but 
   unfortunately some of them still click at the end.

2> Improved Drum Beat:  The original drum beat was a James Brown drum loop, 
   the use of which I find repulsive (doesn't the poor man have enough 
   problems?).  I sampled some drums from my CD collection and used them to 
   produce a completely new and authentically Techno drum beat.

3> Lengthened Song:  The KLF produced a song that was rather short, running
   about 3:40.  My mix runs about 5:10 due to extra music I added.

4> Polished Song:  I got the song to utilise almost all tracks.  Furthermore
   I created more patterns to allow better transitions.  I added additional  
   tracker effects to produce a nicer sounding module.

5> Fixed Song: The tracker format used by the orignal was non-standard and 
   mine is just plain ol' vanilla NT v2.0.

    I must thank Roger Earl for the sampler I used in this song.  Roger is
the sysop of my favorite BBS in Vancouver, Wizard On-Line (I'll give you 
the number a bit later).  I'd also like to recognize the work of other lower
mainland module producers.  Hello to Tom Szymanski, Darren Grant, Angus 
Graham, Jason Johannson, Dennis Carlyle, Dave Conroy and Dana Fujikawa.
