It can critt and decritt files of any nature and format, lines data, executable, compressed files etc. The password is selectable from user and can have a maximum length of 256 characters. It's not possible to find or decipher the password in the critted file, in as there doesn't come memorized. The lines treated with DeCritt remain of the same greatness. Usefoul such program for excange data by EMAIL or to critt file of a certain importance. ABOUT THE ALGORITHM --------------------- I've no use one of the note algorithm in this program, but a new one created by me. This one is powerfoul and secure, but I can't garantee that is invulnerable. So be careful ! This is a SPECIAL version (US) that is limited to 40 bit coding password. This limit is imposed from Department of Defence of US. USING DECRITT ------------- DeCritt can be launched both from CLI or from WorkBench. It can read the parameters from ICON or from the CommandLine of the CLI. It allocates the necessary STACK to run the program (16.384 bytes) automatically also if in the icon (or in the CLI) itemized is otherwise. Require 2.04 or better kickstart. PARAMETERS: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PWDFILE= Is the name of the line that contains the list of the PASSWORDS to use. INFILE= The name of source DEFAULT file to elaborate. OUTFILE= The name of destination DEFAULT file elaborated (to save). PREFSFILE= Name of the preference file to load at startup. MACROFILE= Name of the file container the MACRO to load at startup. PWDWINWIDTH= Modify passwords window width (in characters). Default value 50. PWD_INVISIBLE= Specify if the PASSWORD field gadget must be invisible (ON) or otherwise visibie (OFF). PUBSCREEN= Specify the name of the Public Screen that program have to use. If this name is missing the WorkBench Screen is used as default. If the screen name is not found in the system pub-screen-list then program create a new PUB screen with indicated name. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NOTE: No one of these indicators is obligatory. CHARACTERISTICS --------------- This program is having realized like exercise of planning and like TEST for the SDGad.library that in this case is been linked to the executable. The interface in question had realized from the subscribed and includes different interesting characteristics. Full font adaptive, use of DataTypes, completely customizable, automatic POP-UP, options for SOUND Samples. Included to the program ther's a complete CIG Screen that allows you to alter the GUI settings of the program. This is the motive for which DeCritt is so 'large'. In reality the code of the program is at least 10 times inferior. Selecting the IN filename (source) is examined the extension, then the program draws the name of it (counseled) for the destination file. If the destination file exists and is desired overwrite, you needs to select the gadget "Overwrite." With the Gadget "Progress Bar" you instead are enabled/disabled the visualization of the progress bar. If disabled the operation is of course faster, but you loses itself the certainty of the progress of the operation. With "Password List" the ListView is entered where is possible alter, modify or add new passwords to use with the program. If you are desired to save the password may select the gadget "OK" (in this window). Selecting instead "Cancel" they will come restore the old password before the modification. With the gadget "Iconify" the program comes reduced to icon. For reopen the full window do a double click on the same icon. The gadgets with the pictures are those that I bugger the by to the operation. The gadget with the sketch of the complete sheet to the torn sheet launches the Critt operation, the other the opposite operation. The two gadgets has managed automatically from the program and is active or deactive accordly to the extension of source file. The POP-UP gadgets allow a rapid selection of the files and of the password from use.
