This is an Utility for use with the EPSON Stylus Color Series printer.

!!! This is a beta release - Most features are not tested !!!

FEATURES
--------
 - you can setup the printer standardprefs (Font, Chartable, ...)
   (At this time supported for ESC/500/200/400/600/800
    -> next maybe (if requested!) ESCII(s), Stylus, LQ?)

 - you can print the nozzle-testpattern
   (At this time supported for 400/600/800!!!

 - you can clean the head of the printer (black or color)
   (At this time supported for ESC/400/600/800!!!

 - you can calibrate the printer with some patterns
   (At this time only for ESC/400/600/800
    -> planed for 500/200/II(s)
    For the ESC500-printer the calibration works completly different
    to the 800 - there are not send only control-sequences to the
    printer but the patterns in graphic mode!
    And there is no developer-support from EPSON. So I must find
    out myself what I need from thousands of hex-bytes!)
    I didn't think about the ESC200/ESC2(s) because I want to finish
    the support for ESC500 first.

 This is the same what the Utility for Mac and PC do.

- about software-controlled interrogation of ink capacity I havn't
  any information. If i get the required dev-info i will support this.

Because I only have an EPSON Stylus COLOR 800 I couldn't test the
program for the other printers! So if you use it please check the
first times if it works correct an write me an email with your results.

REQUIREMENTS
------------
 - EPSON Stylus COLOR Series Printer
 - AmigaOS 2.04 or later and 68020+ CPU

 This Program is email-ware.

 Bug-Reports and suggestions are welcome (per email)
 It is not alowed to include this program in any printer
 driver package (pd or commercial) without permission
 of the author

INSTALLATION
------------
 - decrunch the archive
 - copy the dir where to your favorite place
 - if you want another language copy one of the included
   catalogs to SYS:locale/catalogs/<your language>

HISTORY

 V1.2 - added load config when program starts
        and save config when program quits
