- What is EasyHTLM ?
EasyHTML is a new HTML editor. I want a fast and easy HTML editor
and so I wrote this program. This is a YCSWYG (YouCan'tSeeWhatYouGet)
editor! This is the fastest way to get HTML code ;-) Why you use a
WYSIWYG editor, when you know what you want?
If you want to use this program, make sure that you know the basics
about HTML!!
Easy HTML is only a program that helps you writing your HTML text. You
must change sometimes parts (see TABLE window) with your text editor.
- The screen
EasyHTML wants to open a PAL-hires screen. But if you use NewMode
(like I do), you be able to open every screen (try to open a NTSC-
hires.... it works!!).
- The main menu!
Here you can fix nearly everything! Press INFO to see the INFO window.
First you must give your HTML page a name (type the name in the TITLE
field) and define the colors. Change the position of the three sliders
and look to the field under the sliders. When you change the position
of a slider his color changes. Click now to BG color (under the TITLE
field). Now the BG color changes (as you see in the control window).
Now change all the other color and if you want then load a background
picture (BG picture).
With CENTER and /CENTER you can set an extra center to you HTML code.
P means P, BR means BR and HR means HR. If you don't know what P BR
P BR and HR means, then look to your HTML doc (RTFM!!) :-)
NEW since V1.1 SAVE PART (save your last edit part... maybe you want
to use a special part in you pages, then
use this button (insert a part with "LOAD
PART"))
NEW since V1.0 UNDO LAST (undo your last action)
NEW since V1.0 BGsound (loads a sondfile (MIDI/WAV...) as background
music)
NEW since V1.0 NEW HTML (resets everythings. Only the TITLE, COLOR,
BGpic, BGsound and all TABLEcolors will be
left)
NEW since V1.0 LOAD PART (here you can insert an ASCII text... maybe
you want to insert a special part in every
HTML code.. then use this function!)

Here you can see what you've done ;-)
- The TEXT window
Here you can set the following things:
center - centers your text
i - text style
b - text style
u - text style
s - text style
big - text style
small - text style
tt - text style
pre - text style
H1 - text size
H2 - text size
H3 - text size
H4 - text size
H5 - text size
H6 - text size
EditText - a very easy editor (to quit the editor press ESC)
I instert the editor, because I want to be able to
write some lines. If you want to write more then
save your HTML and edit the file with your ED or
an other editor. If you write nothing or don't hit
this button EasyHTML insert a text in your HTML page
to remember you where to pleace your text.
OKAY - press here when your ready. If you onlay press OKAY
(and nothing else) nothing will be insert!
- PICTURE window
Here you can load a picture
LOAD PIC - a file requester comes up. remember, all files MUST
be pleaced in the same directory! So before you start
to edit your HTML page copy everything into one
directory.
The paath of the last visited directory will be
remember.
ALIGN.....
top - where to pleace the text
middle - where to pleace the text
botton - where to pleace the text
left - the picture will be on the left side and the text flows
around the picture
right - the picture will be on the right side and the text
flows around the picture
H1 H2 H3 - text size and text style
H4 H5 H6

EditText - the text editor comes up and you can write you text
REMEMBER: top, middle and bottom needs only 1 text line
and so the other line will not be used!!
okay - insert all to your HTML page
- TABLE window
Here you are able to create a rable by clicking the following buttons.
noborder - if you don't want borders
border - if you want borders
TR - with this slider you can say how many cells you want
TH - with this slider you can say how many cells you want
(look in your HTML docs if you don't know what
or | means... or just click and see :-)
load bgpicture - you can load a picture for the table background
background color - change the 3 sliders on the right side and set with
this gadget the background color (if you don't use
a picture ;-)
bordercolordark - change the 3 sliders on the right side and set with
this gadget the dark border color
bordercolorlight - change the 3 sliders on the right side and set with
this gadget the light border color
border = (slider) - move the slider to change the border size
(max 10)
cellspacing = (slider) - move the slider to change the cellspace
(max 10)
cancle - if you don't want to insert a table
okay - to insert the table
You can't write text in your table, so you must edit your HTML page
with an other editor like ED (maby I insert this option in later
versions of EasyHTML..)
- MAILTO window
MAILTO - here type your address into the gadget
NOTE - type a notice in the gadget
LOAD PICTURE - load a picture
H1-H6 - change the text size
B and I - change text style
PIC LEFT & PIC RIGHT - place the picture left or right
CANCEL - if you don't want to insert this
OKAY - insert the mailto
- LINK window
LINK TO - here type the address into the gadget
NOTE - type a notice in the gadget
LOAD PICTURE - load a picture
H1-H6 - change the text size
B and I - change text style
PIC LEFT & PIC RIGHT - place the picture left or right
CANCEL - if you don't want to insert this
OKAY - insert the LINK
- to save your HTML page click... SAVE HTML
A requester comes up and you can save your page.....
THATS ALL! I think it's very easy.....
