| Genetic Species: "As the 22nd century began, an underground alliance had been established among countries which secretly were seeking to undermine corporate power. This alliance was known by the member as the Counter Force Alliance, or CFA. Yet their strength was inadequate in the face of corporate power, and nothing could be accomplished until something tipped the balances of power". | ||
Begin transmission: You will take the role of a bioshifter through the game, solving hundreds of puzzles, traveling in detailed environments and encountering over 15 diverse, intelligent characters on over 40 levels. The Sound FX made by Martin Halberg is comprehensive
and of a very high quality giving the game an extra atmospheric touch. "In Genetic Species there's a sound for every event"
High quality samples included so far: 152 ![]() |
Genetic Species sports CD audio - something that has sadly been very rare in
Amiga games, especially after the Amiga's decline as the #1 games computer.
So, making CD music for the game was a priority for us, as about every
game on PSX/PC offers that today. The game developers asked Simon Ravn to do something atmospheric along the lines of Vangelis, and the result is about 30 minutes of music (the rest of the CD is crammed with game-data) that will enhance the atmosphere of the game for those with the opportunity of having CD music as well as sound-effects while playing. |
Genetic Species uses the brillient AHI Audio system by Martin Blom By using AHI you're simply able to use all known sound cards available for the Amiga computer. Available today are drivers for: · Aura (sampler only) · Delfina DSP and Delfina Lite · DraCo Motion · Paula (8/14/14c bit) · Prelude · Toccata · Wavetools · 8SVX |
