I was looking through a 1986 "Spiegel" magazine, which is Germany's biggest
current affairs magazine - like "Time", only far better, and came across a
two page colour advert for the A1000. It was stunning - the fact that such
an advert existed, I mean. Commodore once did have an idea on where to
advertise, it seems...

The slogan used was "Ich sehe was, was du nicht siehst" ("I see something you
don't see") - the main picture was of an ink-blot picture, with an Amiga-
drawn picture of the A1000 next to it and a bit of a spiel about the machine.

If enough people are interested, maybe I'll scan the picture.

Anthony.
