rtgmaster.library wird auf PowerUp umgesetzt
Ein weiteres Vorzeige-Projekt des AMIGA-PD-Bereichs wird es bald in einer
PowerUp-Version geben:
«rtgmasterPPC.library
RtgmasterPPC.library is a PowerPC Native version of rtgmaster.library, the
Library System for GFX Board Compatible Games/Demos. rtgmasterPPC.library,
currently in developement, will have some additional functions to the 68k
version to support PowerPC Games on Amiga the best as possible. Contrary to
68k-rtgmaster which is mainly coded in ASM, the PowerPC version will be
nearly 100% C-coded. I am thinking over doing the most important functions
in PowerPC Assembler, though. Of course the developpement of rtgmaster 68k
will be also continued.
Well, for your information about the progress in this project :
- Library Init+Expunge done
- Organization of the Screenmodes done
- Screenmode-Requester done
- OpenScreen function about 70% done
- Keyboard functions done
- Currently the C Code is compiled with SAS/C, but as soon as i have the
PPC Board and the StormC PPC it only has to be recompiled with some
changes to make it run on the PPC. I am already coding it in a way,
that the needed modifications for PowerUP Coding are already included.
(With StormC this is luckily not much, so i can do program testing with
68k, as long as i do not have the PPC Board)
- rest still has to be done (especially currently rtgmasterPPC.library
only supports CyberGraphX 2+3, Picasso96 and Probench 3, other WB
Emulations and ECS/AGA Support have still to be done)
Hehe, maybe rtgmaster will support PowerPC, before CyberGraphX PowerPC
Native is done :)
