   AwcrMAN is freeware, not public domain.  It may be spread only in

WHAT IT DOES
   This program can display and/or update the AWeb cache register (the AWCR
   file located in AWeb's cache directory).  AwcrMAN currently supports AWCR
   used in AWeb 1.6/2.1 and 3.0.  It can display content (all or just URLs)
   and convert the 1.6/2.1 format to 3.0 one to allow usage of an AWeb
   1.6/2.1 cache with AWeb 3.0.


HOW TO USE
   AwcrMAN can be used only from shell (for now) and only while AWeb is NOT
   running.

   Available options are:

   FILE/A,UPDATE/K,INFO/S,LIST/S,URL/S

   FILE
     This is required, as it is the target of ours wishes :-)
     If only the AWCR location/name is specified, program will display info
     about it and count how many files are stored.

   UPDATE
     If you want to update your 1.6/2.1 AWCR file you must specify this
     argument followed by a destination path/file name.

     DO NOT overwrite your existing AWCR!!!

     AwcrMAN is an experimental program and result is not sure.  Also,
     before using UPDATE on your AWCR you should use LIST and check if
     AwcrMAN interprets correctly YOUR AWCR file.  If not then please send me
     your AWCR file (I'm not interested in sites you visit, just I want to
     find errors in my program).

     Obviously UPDATE works only on AWCR 1.6/2.1 files.

     After the conversion don't forget to copy the updated file to cache
     directory (naming it AWCR).

   INFO
     Just displays header informations about specified AWCR file.

   LIST
     Displays contents of AWCR file in an human readable form.  Use it also
     to check if AwcrMAN interprets correctly your AWCR file.

   URL
     Displays a list of all URLs you have in cache.


NOTE ABOUT UPDATE
   The conversion process works only at AWCR file level and it is intended
   for giving to users the possibility to not loose their entire cache
   (sometimes very large!).

   I must quote Yvon Rozijn (AWeb author) about this:

   "There might be some more inconsistencies in the actual names of the cache
    files, especially in the extensions.  But the majority of the files
    should be usable after this conversion."

   So said, here AwcrMAN works well.  Good luck!
