Short: Amiga Worldwide Atomic Clock Synchronizer Uploader: chufarj@telepath.com (John Chufar) Author: chufarj@telepath.com (John Chufar) Type: comm/misc Replaces: None - New Version (AmiTCP:Synclock upgrade) Installation: 3 easy steps 1) Copy atomiclock2 to your AmiTCP:bin drawer. 2) Copy timeset.rexx to your s: drawer. 3) Set the 'script' bit on atomiclock2 at shell prompt, with: >protect AmiTCP:bin/atomiclock2 +s Requirements: 1) AmiTCP: (Maybe Miami TCP - requires TCP: device) 2) AmigaDOS 3.x or greater (env:Locale.prefs file used) 3) ARexx Operation: 1) Start AmiTCP: 2) At the shell prompt, change to the amitcp:bin drawer >cd amitcp:bin 3) At the prompt, type: >atomiclock2 save 4) After a successful connection is made,you are prompted to answer the daylight savings time (DST) question. IF YOU kept your system LOCALE.PREFS file set to your TIMEZONE (i.e. you did NOT compensate for the daylight savings time, by changing time zones) then answer 'y' to the DST question, when it is appropriate (summer-time). In winter time NOBODY should be answering yes to the daylight savings time question! 5) After the time is set, close the Tools Output window.
