 Welcome to NBL-TiPPiNG! This MAXs Door allows users to compete in an NBL
Basketball Competition which shows the teams playing for that round. The
user must select the team to win from that round/week. After the round is
finished, a ladder is created/shown with the postion of each user showing
their points, from best to worst ... Refer to files/examples in archive!!

If you haven't already guessed or noticed, this Door is EXACTLY the same
as AFL-Tipping. NBL-TiPPiNG Door was created from a request by the SysOp
of Delta-Quandrant BBS, Mark Sorenson. You may/will have to alter all or
most files, including the NBL-TiPPiNG.infoo file, for correct points and
scoring system, etc. I don't follow NBL Basketball, so did watever, etc..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
:::::[ What to do ]:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Firstly, make an entry in your User-Startup.sequence:

  Assign NBL: Doors:NBL-Tipping/

Of course, you would already have Doors assigned. This assign is needed
as it makes life easier when configuring your NBL-TiPPiNG menu config
within MAXs (refer to NBL-TiPPiNG.maxcfg), and coz it is needed ...

The following file is where you put the teams playing each other:

  NBL:NBL-TiPPiNG.questions

Format to follow (refer to example in archive):

       -
       5
       QUESTION
       QUESTION TYPE
       NUMBER OF CHOICES
       CHOICE
       CHOICE
       -

Example:

       -
       5
       Select the team to win?
       Team:
       2
       Townsville Suns
       North Melbourne
       -

The above example would be displayed to the user as follows:

Select the team to win:

A] Townsville Suns B] North Melbourne

Between each question, make sure you put a "-" between each question and a
-END- at the end of the question file.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
:::::[ Ansi Screens ]:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can have an ansi screen displayed at the start and end of the question
file, for example (refer to example in archive):

       - NBL:NBL-TiPPiNG.start
       5
       Select the team to win?
       Team:
       2
       Townsville Suns
       North Melbourne
       -

And at the end of the question file:

       --END-- NBL:NBL-TiPPiNG.end

You must also leave a space between the "--END--" and the filename.

The ansi screens and watever else you can change to suit your BBS/needs!
What is in this archive are the screens from GREMLiNS BBS ...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
:::::[ And there's more ]:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the end of the round, you will need to (unless your a lazy prick ;)
create a (few) file/ansi screen to display the results. To display the
file(s), use MAXs Funstion 13. You should display a table that shows the
users total points progress (from best to worst), refer to example called
NBL-TiPPiNG.best. You can also show another table which displays each
users points for wins for that particular round. You can display the
NBL-TiPPiNG.answers for the present round using NBL-TiPPiNG.view. Etc!
Just refer to the display files in the archive to get an idea ..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
:::::[ Some Limitations ]:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

 1. You cannot make the question longer than 73 chars.
 2. You cannot make the 'max chars user can enter' more than 71 chars.
 3. You cannot use esc codes anywhere in the question file.
 4. Don't use commas "," in the question text file.
