MAXs Function 39 Patches

              PROVIDED THAT BBS ADS ARE NOT ADDED WITHIN IT.

Description:

Unfortunately  (for  me that is), when I wrote InterChat, I found that MAXs
menu  function  39  did not work.  I was able to find the problem and patch
the  relevant portion of both the 68000 and the 68030 executables (6 bytes)
and  included  them in the InterChat archive.  I have since stumbled upon a
patch generator and so I have created the patches for you and released them
in a separate, smaller archive (this one).

Instructions:

To  apply  the patches, you MUST have BBS:  assigned to your MAXs directory
and  the  executables  MUST  be  named  MAXsBBS  for  the 68000 version and
MAXsBBS.68030  for the 68030 version.  Then click on the Patch_MAXs icon
and your executable(s) will be patched and the old ones renamed with '.old'
appended to them.

The  patches  have  been  applied  and  fully  tested  by myself, and to my
knowledge, do not cause MAXs to do funny things at midnight, or the like.
