Preferences

MailWatchPrefs allows you to use a GUI to configure the response of the program to changes in file status....

	On the left there is a listview, the separate items of which define the files to be 'watched' by MailWatch. Only the name of the file is shown in the listview; the file's full name, with path, is shown in the string gadget beneath the list. The gadgets underneath the listview perform the standard actions; ADD adds an entry DUP duplicates (i.e. copies) the selected entry DEL deletes the selected entry, and CLR clears the list completely. The file gadget and the string gadget are, of course, used to edit the name of the file or files that should be 'watched'.
On the right-hand side of the window you can define the various attributes for each file that is to be watched by MailWatch: Icons - None, Old and New Limits - Limits Misc. - Misc.
At the bottom of the window are three gadgets that, with various different results, exit the preferences program: Save saves the preferences to 'ENVARC:MailWatch/MailWatch.prefs' and 'ENV:MailWatch/MailWatch.prefs' Use only saves the preferences to 'ENV:MailWatch/MailWatch.prefs' Cancel quits the program without saving anything, in the same manner as the close-gadget in the upper-left corner of the window.

MailWatchPrefs has the standard menu, and the options accesible from it are those that you would expect: Save saves the preferences to 'ENVARC:MailWatch/MailWatch.prefs' and 'ENV:MailWatch/MailWatch.prefs'. Save as... gives you a file requester, allowing you to choose what file the current preferences should be saved to. Load... opens a file requester with which you can load preferences from a particular file. About... brings up a tiny 'About' requester. Codes... shows a summary of the codes that can be used in certain string gadgets in the program. Hide hides the interface of the preferences program, equivalent to choosing 'Hide Interface' in the Exchange program used to control commodities. Quit... well... see if you can work that one out for yourself.
