 TeaMail is a e-mail door for the TransAmiga BBS system.

 For Teamail to work you must have an Internet Account that allows unlimited
 email address extensions from a DEFINED hostname, Demon Internet offer such
 a service (hey, FREE PLUG! :)). For example, I asked them to register my
 domain as "digitald", therefore all addresses ending in digitald.demon.co.uk
 belong to me...

 psychoed@digitald.demon.co.uk
 crazy@digitald.demon.co.uk
 twisted-firestarter@digitald.demon.co.uk

 There are some possible work-arounds to this, as you know how volatile the
 Internet is.

 ** Contact me (psychoed@digitald.demon.co.uk) if you have any
    problems/questions/enquiries.

 It allows users to send e-mails via the standard AmiTCP stack.
 The email address of the sender is calculated from your hostname (defined
 in teamail.trans), the first character of the users first name and the first
 9 characters of the users last name:

 e.g.

  {hostname=nasa.com} ):-)

  Joe Bloggs
   jbloggs@nasa.com

  Fred Smith
   fsmith@nasa.com

  John Incrediblylongname
   jincredibl@nasa.com

 It is reccomended that you set the access and flag levels for teamail.trans
 if you wish to limit only subscribing/etc. users to be allowed to e-mail.

 Simple to install and use.

 Simply use the commodore installer provided.

 Manually installing...

 Copy the files in the rexx/ subdirectory to your bbs:rexx/ directory.
 Copy the files in the docs/ subdirectory to your bbs:docs/ directory.

 Add a line to your logon.trans (etc.) to display the e-mail to your users.

 --><-----------------
 call 'bbs:rexx/teacheck.trans'
 --><-----------------

 Add an option to your main.rx file (etc.) to allow the users to check & write
 internet e-mails.

 --><-----------------
 C Check E-Mails           10 -------- teacheck.trans
 S Send Internet E-Mail    10 -------- teamail.trans
 --><-----------------

... and that's about it for now ppl :).

** Edit teacheck.trans and teamail.trans to change the variables if need be.

Special files!!!
----------------

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

BBS:Configs/banmails.tea
========================

Each line of this file should contain a valid E-Mail address that users
CAN NOT send e-mails to. Suggested addresses are ftp-via-email and the like.

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

<aka e-mail path> {as defined in your teacheck.trans)
=================

Filenames in this directory follow the format of:

<first name>_<other names>_<last name>

e.g. Stuart_Gillibrand
     Fred_Bloggs
     Joe_Smith

These files should contain "also known as" usernames for e-mails.

e.g.

File: Stuart_Gillibrand
      =================

 --><-----------------
psychoed
webmaster
root
 --><-----------------

This would indicate that the user "Stuart Gillibrand" not only has an e-mail
address of "sgillibran@<hostname>" but also has:

 psychoed@<hostname>
 webmaster@<hostname>
 root@<hostname>

So TeaCheck would also check these boxes at logon foe mail.

... simple really =;)
