Hi! All the design files are copyrighted. You may build it for yourself only, if you want to sell it in bigger volume, contact me first for a licence! The cfgpll.exe can be used to calculate PLL values for different crystal frequencies. Due to a bug in the STA013, other values must be used for 32kHz/512x oversampling. There are another program to calculate 32kHz/512x values, it is not included, contact STM if you need it. (Both written by Marco Veneri) The PCB has been created using Protel98. You can download the 30 days trial version from their homepage. The PHD file should be processed with XPLA Designer V3.31. It's pure Abel, however WebPack ISE can't fit it into the target device. (PZ5128/XCR5128) There is no schematic, look at the picture for the component values. Most of the SMD capacitors are 33n..100n for power supply decoupling, except the STA013 PLL filter circuitry and the low pass filters. You'll found the recommended values in the STA013 and CS4222 docs. On the solder side there are only power filter capacitors and 2 pull-up resistors for the JTAG interface. The 3.3V and 5V supplies must be filtered with at least 220uF electrolytic capacitor to reduce phase noise. The xtal (not visible on the picture, only the footprint) is 14.318MHz, the oscillator is 12..40MHz. (Don't care) Recommended SRAM types: AS7C256-20PC Alliance USA IS61C256A-20N ISSI Taiwan MT5C2568-20 Micron USA W24257AK-20 Winbond Taiwan These are 8k only. I never used them, but they are known to work. CY7C185-25PC Cypress USA IS61C64AH-20N ISSI Taiwan MCM6264CNP25 Motorola Korea MS62C64A-20NC Mosel Taiwan W2465AK-15 Winbond Taiwan These will not work! (Some of them is a dummy plastic package only without silicon) KD61256A15 PT61C256AH-20H 61C328 M5M5278P-25 Good luck! Let me know about your results. VF
