2. ak-Datatypes mit UAE/Amithlon-Optimierungen als Freeware erschienen

»Aus Neugier habe ich den PPC-Support aus dem akJFIF-Datatype entfernt und stattdessen einige uae/amithlon-spezifische Optimierungen eingebaut (jedoch noch keinen x86-nativen Code).

Andere Datatypes/Programme könnten folgen. PPC-Support ist vorerst kein Thema mehr, da ich keine PPC-Karte mehr besitze und bislang auch kein Pegasos-Developerboard erhalten habe.«

»Starting with V45.1 (29.6.02), the datatypes akJFIF/PNG/TIFF are Freeware. The keyfile code and some other legacy stuff has been removed. This also may speed things up, since there are less special cases to be covered.

Furthermore, a couple of different optimizations in the 68k code have been made, some bugs were fixed and some amithlon/uae- specific optimizations have been made.
