Welcome to the Ucode FontMaker...
You will see a set of 256 buttons, each holding a unicode value.
~Any buttons with 0000 in them will a cause blank glyphs to be
~placed in the font. It is customary (but not compulsory)
~to leave 00-20 and 7F-A0 blank.

You can click any of the 256 buttons to edit it. If you are
~editing a value, you can press 0-9 or A-F to type a digit,
~or the left or right arrows to move the cursor.

You can also press any of the 8 buttons near the top of the
~window, as follows:

Choosing Glyph attributes - instructions

(Click this window when ready)

Choosing glyph attributes is a four step process.
First, you will be asked to specify a nominal glyph height. The actual
~font height will be a little more, since a few extra lines are allowed
~for diacritical marks such as acute and grave. For example, nominal
~height 11 is actual height 14.

##120
Second, choose a font width. Third, a font weight. Finally, a font
~style.

Basically, glyphs exist only in normal width, lightest weight, and
~sans serif. If you specify a set of attributes for which the specified
~unicode glyphs don't exist, Fontmaker will try to resize glyphs to
~fit the attributes you require. The attributes that actually get set
~may therefore not be the same as what you specify, but rather will be
~the best match that Fontmaker could find among the glyph files.
Error: No glyphs match the chosen attributes
(Click to acknowledge)
Preview of current glyph contents
Blank glyphs are either glyphless unicodes,
or files with current attributes are incomplete
(Click the window when finished)
