@{b}IdleWOS@{ub} is an @{u}instrument@{uu} to see how busy the ppc processor is. Nothing more, nothing less.
This program is great if you want to find out if your (or any) ppc program takes too much cpu-time.
And if so, you want to reduce it. You can also use this program to see if your program is @{u}really@{uu} on the job.

This version of @{b}Idle@{ub} is for WarpOS *only* !
You can however run the M68K & the WOS version together :)

@{b}IdleWOS@{ub} requires an Amiga with at least @{b}V44 (OS 3.5)@{ub}, @{b}Reaction Classes V44 AND window.class V45@{ub},
a @{b}PPC@{ub} processor, @{b}WarpOS@{ub} installed and not too much memory. That's all folks.....

IdleWOS has a couple of tooltypes:

XPOS & YPOS: Guess what they do !?
LOAD: Shows the CPU & System Load at the same time.
HORIZ: The gauge gadgets will be next to each other. Default = Vertical.
DELAY: Sets the delaytime in millisecs. Default = 250000.
 WIDTH & HEIGHT: Ehhhh ????
 PERCENTPEN: Changes the percentpen color.
 FILLPEN: Changes the fillpen color.
 EMPTYPEN: Changes the emptypen color.

 · Resizing the window, doesn't always refresh the window. Seems to me, WMHI_NEWSIZE isn't done right under WOS.
For insiders: There's no such signal coming from switch(result & WMHI_CLASSMASK) so the program doesn't update the window.
The routines are finished, included in the program and *should* work. Better complain to the Reaction programmers, if you can reach them :P
 · IdleWOS doesn't work correctly on V39/40 due to problems with the ClassAct/Reaction classes. Solution ? Upgrade !
 · IdleWOS also doesn't work correctly (crash) on V44 (OS3.5) machines, which have the V44 window.class!
Please change this one with the V45 version, that's the one that comes with the WB3.9 BB1. This one should work fine. At least over here ;)

Don't mind the program version 'Idle@{u}2xx@{uu}', this is normal. Just a reminder for @{b}@{"me" link "Author" 0}@{ub},
to know which is the latest version.
SystemLoad can and will be (sometimes) > 100%. This is normal. That's how WarpOS works.

I would like to thank:

Amiga Inc. for the ongoing dream called "Amiga"
Volker Barthelmann, Frank Wille and all the other people who helped to make VBCC.
My friends D.J. Gino & Abraxas for making those great mix tapes, which helped me
thru dark sleepless nights & difficult programming stages.
Jim Krab for additional help (borrowing his monitor).
Everyone I forgot.
