Version: 1.51 (Prefs-Ed v2.51) Type: util/time This is a program that is extraordinary if you allways forget about things when you sit with your computer! There are seven different remind-types: Singel-, Daily-, Weekly-, Monthly-, Yearly-, "A number of days"- and "Time-interval"-remind! And a string of 70 chars where you can write what to be reminded for. All remind-types each has some unique features! Changes and news: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * NEW * Fixed a very stupid fatal bug that crashed or hanged DRemind when a requester (like the About-requester) was opened! * NEW * Added a possibility to get a Delete and Disable button directly in every reminder-window! * NEW * Added some arexx-commands for external control! ** DRemind finally supports the Magical User Interface! And with this comes MANY new GUI-features and settings! ** You can execute an Arexx-command as a remind! ** You can use the menu item "Disable" to pause DRemind! ** You can select delay for temporary reminds much easier! ** DRemind has goodie-support which means that you can have small special programs to automatically remind you about major happenings around the year, like christmas! ** You can temporary transform a "Remind on startup"-remind to a "Remind ONCE"-remind! This is done by in the original remind-window by closing the window by clicking on the actual remind-text. In the "system-like" requester an additional button is available. * It's possible to choose between 4 different date-modes: dd-mmm-(yy)yy, dd-mm-(yy)yy, mm-dd-(yy)yy and (yy)yy-mm-dd! * You are now able to switch between real time (or so called "military" time) and 12-hour clock with AM/PM! * If you have a remind to start at startup you can set if it only should popup before or after a certain time! * The yearly-remind has now an option to set an extra remind a number of days before or after the actual remind. So one wouldn't forget to f.ex. buy presents in time for a birthday or so! * You can now select between three different ways of putting up the remind: Extended - The original remind with "See you tomorrow.." and all the other kind of pointless lines. Normal - This only tells you what type of remind, date, time and ofcourse the remind.
