Kleinert ( USE THIS README AS A DOC AND DOWNLOAD IT, TOO ) This program doesn't have a documentation because it's nearly self-explaining and it would cost me much more work. It is one program which allows to configure all datatypes of Andreas R. Kleinert ( GIF, JFIF, LJPG, PNG, SVG ). This program was written in E (thanks Wouter) and uses the "bgui.library" (thanks to Jan and Ian). COPYRIGHTS ---------- This software is stated in the PUBLIC DOMAIN so you can do with that package what you want. You are using this piece of software at your own risk, so the author can not be held responsible for any problem occuring with it. INSTALLATION ------------ Copy the file "akPrefs_D.catalog" (german users) or "akPrefs_S.catalog" to the desired location. The translation files for these catalogs are also included, so you can make your own translation if you want to. Simply write to the file "akPrefs_Blanko.ct". After your translation I will generate the catalog and put them to the distribution. The program itself is called "akPrefs" and can be placed anywhere on your harddisk. On my system it is located at "PREFS:Datatypes/" as an example. HOW TO USE ---------- If the window appears you can see a cycle-gadget at the top and a row of buttons at the bottom. The cycle-gadget contains the name of the current selected datatype (f.e. JFIF means configuration for akJFIF.datatype). You can switch between the datatypes while pressing this gadget or simply pressing the -key. If you have selected the "JFIF" page you can switch between general and special settings by pressing the "+"-key. If you want to use the settings for a datatype temporarily you have to switch to the page of this datatype and then press the middle button of the button-row below. If you want to save them for all time then press the left button of this row. If you want to exit this program you have to press the right button. Whenever you are pressing the left or the middle button only the configuration files of the current selected datatype are changed, so if you want to store the configurations of all datatypes, you have to select all pages and then press the middle or left button.
