The idea of it came to me by a friend request that wanted a MUI (© Stefan Stuntz) based phone log analyzer for Miami (© Holger Kruse), which was not existing till now... «MiamiPhone» is freeware but copyrighted by me, it displays a lot of informations about the actual time and cost of your connections, and is quite configurable. I have tried to make it useable outside of France, I hope it will be, because I have no idea on how phone calls are charged abroad! Anyway its no cost for you to try it... Main features includes ---------------------- - external configurable price file - error detection skipping (Online without Offline, when your computer has crashed!) - optional setable connect time (seconds between phone connect and modem online) - optional setable tax - optional setable retrenshment - displays total time, number of connections - displays total price with and without tax, and after retreshment - displays tax amount - display retrenshment gain with and without tax - displays detail of connections (number, date, online, offline, duration, price with and without tax) - localized (french catalog provided, and .cd file) Requirements ------------ - Kickstart 2.0 or higher - Workbench 2.1 or higher - MUI 3.1 or higher (not provided) - Miami phone log file(s) How to uses it -------------- 1) You must be registered to Miami to be able to logging the phone. Please read Miami documentation about how to configure it. 2) You must then configure the "MiamiPhone.price" file. Here are some explanation on how to do so (see also the example file): * TIME ZONE Here you will define the time zone, hour by hour and day by day, from Sunday to Saturday and from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59. Each day is splitted in 23 slices of a hour. First slice is from 00:00:00 to 00:59:59, second is from 01:00:00 to 01:59:59, etc. Each of this slice must be associated to a tariff, e.g a number from 0 to 9. Example: Sunday is the same tariff for all day, let's say its tariff0: d0: 000000000000000000000000 :Sun Monday is tariff0 from 0h to 8h, tariff1 from 8h to 19h, and then tariff0: d1: 000000001111111111100000 :Mon * TARIFF ZONE Here you will define the tariff of above time zone. You are limited to 9 different tariff, which must be in currency/seconds. If we continue with the example, we will set: t0: 0.001932 t1: 0.003864 * CONNECTION SPECIFIC Here you will define if necessary specific charge and time from your phone network. I will explain this with an example. In France a connection is charged 0.615 Fr the first 3 mns and then different tariff dependings on time and destination call. When we compute the cost of a call, we must charge the first 3 mns at 0.615, and then apply the right tariff. The two values "cc" (connect cost) and "ct" (connect time) are for this specific purpose. With the example cc must be 0.615 and ct 180 (this must be in seconds).
