Short: Unix .shar dearchiver for PPC, incl. source Author: Eddy Carroll Uploader: Andreas_Kleinert@t-online.de Type: util/arc The docs originally said about this program "Unshar is a utility which extracts files from the ubiquitous Unix shar archives. It has the following advantages over existing unshar utilities: - Small and fast - Handles many cat and sed formats - Allows extraction of subdirectories - Understands ./file type filenames - Understands file continuation with >> - Sorts file list by Subject: line - Exits cleanly with CTRL-C" This is a port for powerUP (TM) PPC systems. ELF binary is called "unshar.elf", "e" bit already set (so that you can run it directly from Shell using the ElfLoadSeg patch - otherwise please use "RunElf"). For changes (basically only smakefile + SCOPTIONS had to be added) see the file "changes.powerup" in the "src" directory. The program itself does seem to work fine - successfully has been tested on "mcvert-216.shar" (which BTW is available as PPC port, too). -- ARK, 8/Apr/98 ============================= Archive contents ============================= Original Packed Ratio Date Time Name -------- ------- ----- --------- -------- ------------- 1201 573 52.2% 08-Apr-98 17:41:52 +POSTER 175 146 16.5% 08-Apr-98 17:52:16 +changes.powerup 1046 481 54.0% 08-Apr-98 17:41:52 +makefile 241 163 32.3% 08-Apr-98 17:47:26 +SCOPTIONS 272 180 33.8% 08-Apr-98 17:45:02 +smakefile 106 74 30.1% 08-Apr-98 17:41:52 +system.h 6132 2433 60.3% 08-Apr-98 17:41:52 +tiny.a 19665 7270 63.0% 08-Apr-98 17:47:00 +unshar.c 4286 2046 52.2% 08-Apr-98 17:41:52 +unshar.n 5464 2227 59.2% 08-Apr-98 17:41:52 +unshar.doc 18714 8535 54.3% 08-Apr-98 17:47:58 +unshar.elf 1165 663 43.0% 08-Apr-98 17:56:08 +UnSharPPC.readme -------- ------- ----- --------- -------- 58467 24791 57.5% 11-Apr-98 19:59:34 12 files
