This program is able to password protect executeable files. If a protected file is launched, the user has to enter the correct password in a small window in order to run it. DePassword is able to show the password and/or completely remove the password protection from those files. It has been tested up to passwd V1.4. Even though passwd is a good way to protect programs against being executed by unexperienced users, it is by FAR not that tough as it is said by the authors. Note that DePassword is a one-night-hack. I didn't put much effort in it, so don't expect a beautiful GUI or an exemplary error handling. But anyhow, it does its duty. USAGE ----- DePassword INFO Shows the password protection mode and the password itself. Password protection will NOT be removed. DePassword Shows the password protection mode and the password itself. The protection will be removed. The unprotected file replaces the protected one. DePassword Shows the password protection mode and the password itself.
