Needs Kickstart V3.x Program information ------------------- akPNG.datatype is a new PNG datatype, which is based on the latest PNG sources (zlib V1.0.4, libpng 1.0 beta 6 - version 0.96). So it does support 8 Bit color mapped files (colorspace expanded to 8 bit per component always) and True color files (24/48 Bit, alpha channel ignored, 48 Bit 16:16:16 cut down to 24 Bit 8:8:8). [ More detailed description can be found in akPNG.guide ] -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Supported output bitmap formats: - picture.datatype V39-42: o (upto) 256 palette colors o HAM6 or HAM8 - picture.datatype V43 (CyberGraphX or Picasso96) (*) o 24 Bit RGB Where upto 256 colors always will be exported unmodified, and 24 Bit data either is dithered or converted to HAM6/HAM8, if it can't be or should not be exported unmodified.
