Short: Pictures from the Computer95 fair at Cologne Author: mussi@snoop.alphanet.ch (Rene Laederach), gordini@logic.helvetica.ch (Peter Glauser) Uploader: mussi@snoop.alphanet.ch (Rene Laederach) Type: pix/misc Pictures from the Cologne 95 fair Here are the pictures (at last!) from the Cologne 95 fair as well as two pics from the Orbit fair! Have fun. Direct suggestions, comments and appraisals to mussi@snoop.alphanet.ch, money to my banc account (details if you email me), A4000Ts060 to me, and post your flames to misc.test. :) I have converted the pictures from a PhotoCD source to have perfect scanning quality (anyway, I can't pay a good color scanner :( ) and used PhotoGenics to convert them. I have then viewed all the pictures with CyberView to check that the jpgs are OK. Phase5 equipment helped to minimize waiting time, but an 040 is still too slow...maybe anybody wanna make my A3000 love these 060 accelerators and donate me one? ;) If you recognize yourself, you could maybe write me some more mail. In case anybody would like to do something nice, I'd be glad for newer beta versions of IBrowse (>0.73) and similarly useful stuff. At any rate, you can also reach me on 2:301/133@fidonet or 39:110/312@amiganet. Here the descriptions: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pic14: Assembling for a group picture. Pic15: Picture: Frontmost: Domenig Weyermann Behind him: Me (Rene Laederach) Second rank: Members from Domenigs computer club Third (from left to right): Caspar Schlegel, Marc Eggenberger, Peter Glauser and Bruno Soltermann. Pic16: Pic20: My BBS machine dissected. Anybody remembering what type the accelerator is? (And of course, I also have some disco lighting when my Ariadne transfers data :) ). Pic22: The cup everybody envies me for. :) Pic23: That's only a small portion of what we brought home. :) Pic24: Next evening, we went to Peter and had a "Sauffete" to discuss Cologne... Actually, I was able to drive home my car. :) I made a stop in a nearby toilet to remove pressure, though....;) Pic26: My car, correctly decorated, though. :) Pic27: My loot. :) (I went shopping...) Pic28: The paper work (if VillageTronic could repay the VAT despite some email and two faxes, as well as the letter containing the receipt of Cologne...) Pic29: After the 'hunt', at the hotel. Pic30: No limits to shopping! :) Pic31: The AT stand... Pic32: Another hunter, not from our group... Pic33: Domenig Weyermann live (in the middle, arguing with another from our group...), the person scratching the back of his head is me. :) Pic36: The stand where Peter Glauser wasted hefty amount of cash (20 DEM?) :) (was a horoscope. :( ) Pic37: Our group at one of the hourly meetings. :) Pic38: Peter Glauser with his booty Pic39: I'd like to have such a wallpaper at home. :) Pic41: Another part of the AT stand. :) Pic42: Close-up of the AT stand. :) Pic43: Somebody as tired as we are. :) (BTW: Who's the person who pours the drink into Jonathan's Glass?) Pic44: Maxon stand... Pic45: Maxon Cinema4D display - all the people went there and didn't care much for Organiser and the other Maxon Products. Pic46: Fred Fish, probably a bit tired. :) Pic47: Gabriele Lechner (Lechner Verlag, a German publisher of many Amiga related books) Pic49: The crowd at the AT stand - it was even worse on Saturday. :) Pic50: Petro Tyschtschenko is talking to somebody unknown (maybe a politician? :) ). I'd like to know who the black person is...looks like a reporter... Pic51: Petro Tyschtschenko. Pic53: Some AT person is trying demoing the I-Glasses to an interested audience, including Marc Eggenberger, one from our group... Pic54: The TV wall... Pic56: Petro Tyschtschenko explaining the respective advantages to the German ex-minister of Justice, Ms Leutheusser-Scharrenberger. Pic57: The author of this readme. :) Pic58: Peter Glauser, posing in front of a wall-paper some persons might love to get. :) Pic59: We both. Angela Schmidt will surely remember us, because she has taken the picture. :) Pic60: Gabriele Lechner (left) and another employee of Lechner Verlag Pic61: Promigos Stand at the Orbit'95 in Basle, Switzerland Pic66: Software corner at the Promigos Stand on the Orbit95. :) Pic68: This is the crowd...and this was picture was taken on Friday! On Saturday, it was no more possibe to walk. Pic69: You couldn't miss this one.... Pic70: No, this is not the cafe. :) Pic71: On the way to Cologne, just outside of Basle, on the German side. Pic72: Zorro board for the A1200 beside a *black* tower (a piece I'd really like to have...., you know, for display. PC freaks get intimidated by black boxes, ehhh Amiga towers... :) Pic73: They've got ten of 'em stashed.... :) Pic74: A DraCo. Pic75: Zorro board with PCI slots for the PC side, with a one-board Pentium PC. Talk about emulation! :) At the Micronik stand, if I remember correctly. Pic76: A stack of monitors.... Pic78: The PowerUp board from phase5 Pic79: Two red-eyed (pre-Flash probably missed out on this one :( ) AT employees which I don't know by name. Pic80: The conference hall was quite crowded when AT was on the plan, and only a third full when Apple was presenting their views. :) Of course, this is from an AT conference. :) Pic82: An overview of the conference room during an AT session. :) Pic84: The stage.... Pic85: Hole up and camp. :) The old man in the upper left corner was the oldest member of our group... Pic87: Sleepy Domenig and Greg Perry and Jonathan Potter wide awake (or is it it the other way around? :) ) Pic88: The author of... (guess yourself :) ) Pic90: DPK and Domenig Weyermann.... Pic91: Our lunch table.... Pic92: DPK.......next time, we will have to do some preparative work like in film studios to make pictures look even better - donations are always welcome :) Pic93: Amiga Fever (maybe anybody has the source for this T-Shirt?) Pic94: Greg Perry....when does GPFax 3 hit the shelves? Pic97: The phase5 stand, in front the display with the PowerUp card.... Pic98: Phase5 again - this time computers very probably fitted with phase5 equipment. Pic99: Fred Fish and Marc Eggenberger... Pic101: The table again.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ============================= Archive contents ============================= Original Packed Ratio Date Time Name -------- ------- ----- --------- -------- ------------- 64538 64538 0.0% 17-Mar-96 18:54:32 Pic014.jpg 63266 63266 0.0% 17-Mar-96 18:55:12 Pic015.jpg 76205 76205 0.0% 17-Mar-96 18:56:14 Pic016.jpg 160468 160468 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:01:02 Pic020.jpg 84751 84751 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:03:00 Pic022.jpg 96609 96609 0.0% 18-Mar-96 00:01:14 Pic023.jpg 84983 84983 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:06:34 Pic024.jpg 69128 69128 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:14:06 Pic026.jpg 120852 120852 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:15:26 Pic027.jpg 84686 84686 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:19:22 Pic028.jpg 100289 100289 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:53:26 Pic030.jpg 112082 112082 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:54:14 Pic031.jpg 90172 90172 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:55:32 Pic032.jpg 103081 103081 0.0% 17-Mar-96 19:57:48 Pic033.jpg 86902 86902 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:00:04 Pic036.jpg 103386 103386 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:01:44 Pic037.jpg 86019 86019 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:03:34 Pic038.jpg 72197 72197 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:05:16 Pic039.jpg 97265 97265 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:19:34 Pic041.jpg 118981 118981 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:20:48 Pic042.jpg 99551 99551 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:22:08 Pic043.jpg 117700 117700 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:24:02 Pic044.jpg 102393 102393 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:25:56 Pic045.jpg 112171 112171 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:26:52 Pic046.jpg 93479 93479 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:27:46 Pic047.jpg 103087 103087 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:29:16 Pic049.jpg 90415 90415 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:33:16 Pic050.jpg 95821 95821 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:32:46 Pic051.jpg 102233 102233 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:35:40 Pic053.jpg 109678 109678 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:36:26 Pic054.jpg 97304 97304 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:45:58 Pic056.jpg 102733 102733 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:44:32 Pic057.jpg 91420 91420 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:48:04 Pic058.jpg 98767 98767 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:50:42 Pic059.jpg 110601 110601 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:52:02 Pic060.jpg 103067 103067 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:56:32 Pic061.jpg 95566 95566 0.0% 17-Mar-96 20:58:14 Pic066.jpg 89040 89040 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:10:02 Pic069.jpg 100152 100152 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:13:16 Pic070.jpg 88623 88623 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:16:48 Pic071.jpg 69635 69635 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:19:26 Pic072.jpg 105917 105917 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:20:22 Pic073.jpg 106453 106453 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:21:44 Pic074.jpg 76830 76830 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:23:38 Pic075.jpg 90432 90432 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:27:58 Pic076.jpg 73631 73631 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:30:52 Pic078.jpg 75329 75329 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:38:16 Pic079.jpg 111412 111412 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:40:56 Pic080.jpg 115332 115332 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:44:26 Pic082.jpg 90983 90983 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:45:18 Pic084.jpg 112992 112992 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:47:12 Pic085.jpg 93834 93834 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:49:54 Pic087.jpg 106800 106800 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:50:54 Pic088.jpg 84879 84879 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:53:30 Pic090.jpg 122917 122917 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:54:58 Pic091.jpg 84147 84147 0.0% 17-Mar-96 21:57:48 Pic092.jpg 95090 95090 0.0% 17-Mar-96 22:43:28 Pic093.jpg 74195 74195 0.0% 17-Mar-96 22:45:16 Pic094.jpg 113505 113505 0.0% 17-Mar-96 22:47:28 Pic097.jpg 106030 106030 0.0% 17-Mar-96 22:49:32 Pic098.jpg 117156 117156 0.0% 17-Mar-96 23:01:08 Pic099.jpg 117870 117870 0.0% 17-Mar-96 23:02:20 Pic101.jpg 6676 3095 53.6% 17-Mar-96 23:57:28 Col-Pics.readme -------- ------- ----- --------- -------- 6031706 6028125 0.0% 19-Mar-96 01:23:18 63 files
