Sure yes ! Don't you think that is very boring to type something like "PAL:High Res no flicker" every time you want it. This string only represents the DisplayID of a ScreenMode and its better to choose a ScreenMode in a requester, isn't it ? That's the job of GetScreenID. It works similary to those GetPubName programs. 4 - Requirements : ------------------ You must have some little things in order to get GSI to work : - Reqtools.library V38 or better - a little Shell knowledge ( very little ) - an Amiga ( GSI is useless on PCs as Screens don't exists ;-> ) - You must hate MicroSoft Windows ;-) ============================= Archive contents ============================= Original Packed Ratio Date Time Name -------- ------- ----- --------- -------- ------------- 1620 1123 30.6% 04-Oct-94 18:40:44 GetScreenID_1.1/GSI 5692 2398 57.8% 04-Oct-94 20:25:12 GetScreenID_1.1/GSI.doc 6449 2670 58.5% 04-Oct-94 20:26:10 GetScreenID_1.1/GSI.guide 43628 28506 34.6% 03-Oct-94 18:30:26 GetScreenID_1.1/Libs/ReqTools.library -------- ------- ----- --------- -------- 57389 34697 39.5% 31-Dec-94 11:38:12 4 files
