Changes in Spot 1.2d:

Bug fix: import routine would abort completely if an error occured
(for example a bad packet). It will now only abort if the user
aborts the progress requester. Warning: small catalog change!

Import routine will write an extra line (containing the offset) to
the log file if an error occurs reading a packet.

Improved handling of bad packets and ability to try and find a new
message header after a bad message was encountered. It is now
less likely Spot will skip the message right after a bad message
     (in a bad packet).

Made Spot a bit smarter when it tries to find quotes starting with
a ':'. It will no longer consider a smiley ':-)' as a quote for
     example ;-)

Lines starting with '|' are no longer recognized as a quote unless
there is a '>' character following it.

Changed maximum origin line limit from 80 characters to 79
     characters.

Spot will no longer place your 3D address in the `PATH:' kludge.
If your boss has a problem with this change use any ASCII editor
and add a `PATH3D' line to the `MAIL:Spot.prefs' file just after
the ADDRESS line of the boss in question.

Spot will set the protection bits of saved files to `RW-D'.

Spot will now automatically update the file requester buffer when
saving message from the message list. Previously it only did so
from the message window. Note: this is a ReqTools only feature.

I had a report of Spot sometimes changing the gateway name and
address when editing a message. I could not reproduce this, but
have changed some code to prevent this happening. I hope this is
     now fixed :)

Spot will no longer quote `\\reflow' lines if you reply to a
     message written by yourself.

ARexx command `quitspot' no longer returns 100 causing ARexx
     scripts to abort.

Bug fix: matrix reply to a message written by yourself now works
properly (silly thing to do in the first place ;).

     ARexx commands `importedarea', `unreadarea' and `unrepliedarea'
will now return 1 if the current area is the last area matching the
     appropriate condition.

New ARexx commands: `gettimewritten' and `gettimearrived'.

Separators can now be highlighted. Use a `!' as the first (or
only) character of the name of a separator bar. If this feature
is used in combination with `>' and `=' (for positioning the name)
the `!' must be positioned as the very first charachter, before
     the justification indicator.

When exporting Spot will now always set the originating address of
messages in a packet to the same net/node as in the packet header.
In combination with `FAKEFTS1' this should help some people
     having trouble with fakenets.

Improved error checking of export routine. If the packer fails
Spot will export the current messages to
     `<zone>.<net>.<node>.0.OUT' in the outbound directory.

Removed unnecessary saving of all area settings after every export.

Fixed enforcer hits that occured when importing mail in iconified
     state.

When editing a message and using `Cancel...' Spot will now ask if
you want to cancel the changes (instead of canceling the message).
This is more accurate. Warning: catalog change!

Bug fix: keypad `0' and Space did not work in empty areas.

Bug fix: Shift-Ins on keypad no longer works in read only areas.

Changed subject linking algorithm (used if MSGID/REPLY kludges are
missing). The old algorithm would sometimes link messages
together with a completely different subject.

Bug fix: Spot will no longer generate an invalid config file if an
area name or alias contains a `*' or `"'.

New keyboard shortcuts: Control Space and Control keypad `0' will
proceed immediately to the next message (without scrolling).

     ARexx commands `import', `export', `maintenance' and `optimize'
     have a new `ACTIVATE' switch.

Crashing a message to a point who is in your nodelist (and has a
phone number different from his boss) will create a proper `.CUT'
file for that point in your outbound.

Spot will now make sure the packet header password is padded with
     0x00.

Spot will now accept numeric digits in quote indicators.

Text after some uuencoded data would not be reflowed if the
uuencoded data ended with a 'size' line.

     Included ReqTools 2.2 (38.1194) release.
