Requirements: an Amiga with 1MB and Kickstart 1.3.  A hard disk is
    highly recommended.

Oberon-A is a freely-distributable Oberon-2 compiler. Oberon-2 is a
modern object-oriented language designed by Niklaus Wirth, the creator
of Pascal and Modula-2, and Hanspeter Mössenböck. Oberon-A is an
implementation of the language for the Amiga computer, ported from a
compiler written by Niklaus Wirth.

The archive contains the compiler, a pre-link utility, a linker (BLink)
and a programmer's environment.  A complete interface to the Amiga
operating system (version 2.04) and a collection of library modules in
source code form is provided. Documentation is in AmigaGuide and plain
ASCII formats. A text editor is *not* included. The full source code for
the compiler and utilities is available in the archive
Oberon-A_1.2_src.lha.

This is release 1 of Oberon-A and is BETA software.  If you don't like
buggy software, wait for a future release.  This archive supersedes
Oberon-A_1.0.lha and Oberon-A_1.1.lha and incorporates all the bug-fixes
and improvements made to date. If you have a previous version of
Oberon-A already installed, you will need to recompile several library
modules whose interfaces have changed. See the "Updating" section of
Oberon-A.doc.
