+++ Sharp presents AmigaDE Applications at the 2001 Business Show +++

With this welcome to the new edition of AMIGA aktuell.

Another month without special "Highlights" has passed. Perhaps worth mentioning are rumors that came up end of May, about Sharp wanting to buy AMIGA. But shortly after this was denied by Bill McEwen and Cie.

A notice about the magazine: We have cancelled the section »Amiga PowerPC«, because the planned PowerPC AmigaOS versions 4.0 and later will be parts of the recent scheme of AMIGA to market an Amiga system of the next generation. Corresponding articles/messages from now on will be found under the heading »News about AmigaNG«. Texts concerning other PowerPC solutions, such as those currently in use, will in future be in the section »Various Amiga News«.

And now dear reader:

• To our regular summonses: I would like to ask you: Any writer of articles is happy to get praise, but also constructive criticism - both are motivating. So, please don't hesitate to send us your comments about the various articles to AMIGA aktuell at aakt@aakt.de.


• We are always looking for staff members who will regularly, sporadically or just once contribute to AMIGA aktuell International. Nearly no limits on topics! If you are interested please make yourself known at aakt@aakt.de.
