AMIGA aktuell International Forum

1. Internal matters: Invitation to the AMIGA aktuell discussions mailinglist

With this I cordially want to invite all readers to join the newly opened mailing list with themes around Amiga and AMIGA aktuell, and eagerly take part in hopefully interesting discussions.

However: This list is run in the German language primarily. If a reader does not understand German and has an urgent problem with his Amiga, he is invited to turn to Gernod Schomberg <G.Schomberg@t-online.de>, if necessary as well to Carsten Schröder <aakt@aakt.de> or to Christian Aichinger <christian@aakt.de>. The message will be translated into German and posted. The translated answers will be sent back to the reader.

To register please send an e-mail to:

aaktdiskussionen-subscribe@egroups.de

The subject box can stay empty, and no additional text is necessary in the body.

I do not think it necessary to speak much about behaviour on an e-mailing list. The rules of "common sense" apply ;) and there is ample information about this on the internet. Minor "beginners' faults" always are tolerated by the "old experienced", who in most cases politely point out those errors.

Everybody may post whatever and how much ever he wants, as long as postings are in some way connected with Amiga or AMIGA aktuell (International). I do not want discussed on this list "right/left extreme political views", "pornographics" and any other items which are not connected with above mentioned themes. Persistent offenders against these rules will get a "spanking" from me as the moderator of the list or from Carsten Schroeder. If someone will not behave correctly after this pre-warning, he can be suspended from the list temporarily or for good. But I hope and trust that this will never happen.

Attachments to mails for this list are automatically stripped. If you want to send a file, there is an especially arranged file area at eGroups, with a total of 20 MB webspace available for list members. Normally this size is sufficient for every purpose.

The advertisements attached at the ends of postings by Yahoo or eGroups are not connected to AMIGA aktuell (International). The Editor's staff of AMIGA aktuell uses this internet service free of charge, but the service is financed by the advertisements.

If you would like to have further information about this distributor's list, please have a look at the following internet sites:

http://www.egroups.de http://www.egroups.de/group/aaktdiskussionen

If you have more questions or problems, please send an e-mail preferably to me(!) and not to Carsten. I do not wish to saddle him with additional toil in connection with this mailing-list project.

Again the addresses in short:
