PhoEniX_GUI is born because nobody can memorize all the alias in AmIRC. With PhoEniX_GUI you can easy change all the important things to use with the PhoEniX V1.12 script from Paladin. Start the GUI and change all your settings you need. Click on "Save" to save your settings or click on the close gagdet to end the GUI. Thats all. Important: ;-) You can only use the PhoEniX_GUI when you installed PhoEniX V1.12 from Paladin. Otherwise it is not useful in conjunction with AmIRC alone. Sorry about this, but my PhoEniX_GUI needs a big screen. I'm using a Multiscan:Productivity screen (656x495) The window needs 508x495. See my GRABWINDOW.IFF in the archive to see why my GUI is so big. Install all the important files (Libs|RexxC|Rexx). Install the PhoEniX.gui file in the Rexx/GUI dir wherever you want. E.g. Rexx:GUI/ Edit the PhxGUI.AMIRX file in the Rexx dir and install it in the Rexx dir where you start AmIRC from. E.g. in AmiTCP:AmIRC/Rexx/ Install the executable file PhoEnix_GUI wherever you want. Beware, edit the PhxGUI.AMIRX again when you changed the place for your executable. E.g. in AmiTCP:AmIRC/ It is important to have RX, VARexx, VXC and WaitForPort in the same dir. Who have'nt all these files in one dir? ;-) You can start PhoEniX_GUI without running AmIRC. Start PhoEniX_GUI and answer all the questions. PhoEniX_GUI will save a config files names ".phoenix_gui.cfg" in "s:" then. Start AmIRC now and call PhxGUI via your rexx menu. I think an alias is not necessary. Have fun. Special greetings and thanks to Andrew Cook for VArexx Special greetings and thanks to Paladin for PhoEniX. Greetings to all the peoples they like me ;-) Sorry for my english.
