Art Mag would perhaps still have existed today if the editor Satans Fire, who took the lead after Art Mags founder Zen quitted, would had been able to contact me ( xCz ) earlier, since he needed some help with the producing of the mag. But right now isn't the Art Mag a project that is ment to be released in the future. · Msw/Save Our Souls will soon open his Oase with a new large, Ascii- conference where most of the ascii from the beginning 'til now will be available. · Keldon/Mr.Fish is trying to hide his past as Mr.Fish (mrF) when he calls his 6:th collection Bob-Icng.Txt his first. · Many boards are being headquarters for Ascii groups, what earlier was concidered lame is now a must for most of the largest elite-systems. Just take a look at the always changing Ascii-Boards list to see for yourself. · The second issue of the 'Most Respected Ascii Artists' by Punk/Head was released, and it seems to be an interesting little production that we all will follow with great interest. · Flite decided to close down Caustic Style as he was the only active member left. Here have I tried to complish a list of all collections that came to Europe (and that ought to be atleast about 98%) during the period since the latest Ascii Gazette. And how many are they then? The fifth Gazette was released the 4/6 1996, and the ones I've stored on my harddrive are as many as 91 collections. That tells us that the summer could be a active period after all. And here in Sweden I could understand why, since the first weeks really sucked and it was mostly rainy and windy. The amount of 'My first collection'-releases still aint as many as they used to be, and thats good, or? As always, it's impossible NOT to update them info- files I've got, whenever something happens in our ascii-scene. The Gazette will stay, and continue to be a pure factsbased version, but with the the old fine Gazette-feeling. No exact date for the next issue be given, but it will most probably take a bit longer time than one month to develop as it has happened so much now that the next period probably will be inactive but then again, who knows, the ascii-scene is a real mystory.
