RSys1.4gmd

This version is a port to SAS/C 6.5x of RSys1.3 written by Rolf Bohme
apparently for compilation under Manx C. I've appended my initials
as a way to distinguish the version from any other 1.4 version which may
exist somewhere. 

The version of RSys1.3 used was taken off one of the Fish CDROMs
about a year ago. Note that the latest version of RSys that I'm 
aware of is in Disk A of Aminet Set 1 (1995), as 
aminet/util/moni/RsysV1_3.lha. That version seems to have minor
changes from previous 1.3 versions, incidentally.

Note that I've focussed only on producing a version which runs from
the command line. Also some functions which access amigaguide stuff
may not work- since none of the docs were in English I did not bother
with this aspect. I'm releasing this version now since it is in a usable
state and I don't have the time to work any more on it. I expect most
would find it quite useful as it is, and the C-source a handy reference.

Note also that some (German) doc files, and others, are not included in
this distribution. If you want them (they may not be totally relevant),
you can get them off the Aminet disk referred to above.
 

Bug fixes :-

	- Handler Input: <wrong type> fixed.
	- Interrupts;     ditto
	- DOS Lists; Volume Locks hung program requiring rebooting
	             (fixed in the Aminet version)

Functional changes:-

	- Task window now shows processes
	- Hardware window has some cosmetic changes
	- Close requester removed
	

Source Code Changes:-

	- all files reformatted using "indent"
	- all "struct xxx" statements typedef'd
	- SAS/C generated prototype files now used
	- VERSION was scattered around lots of files;
	  now only in one to reduce compilation.
	- heaps of minor changes (casts etc) to remove ALL compiler
	  WARNING flags (lot of effort)


CopyRight Issue

Unfortunately I've been unable to contact Rolf by phone or e-mail at
the addresses he has given in the Copyright file in the Aminet version,
to get his explicit blessing for this distribution.

However as the Copyright (translated from the German) mentions the words
and phrases  "giftware" , "Public Domain", "not meant to be sold for gain",
so I saw no problem in a redistribution provided that these terms are
respected.

So this version with C-source is distributed as freeware, and is not
"not meant to be sold for gain".
