This is a public release of my TCP/IP based voice chat software.
With it and a digitizer and microphone, you can transmit your 
voice over the Internet or a LAN to another Amiga or Amigas that 
are running AmiPhone.

AmiPhone uses ADPCM audio compression to allow transmission through
low-bandwidth connections.  Thus, a conversation is possible even
over 14.4kbit/second modems.  Of course, more bandwidth is desirable.

AmiPhone requires Workbench 2.04 or higher, AmiTCP 3.0b or higher,
and a Toccata board or standard parallel port style digitizer with 
a microphone.  Also, a fast CPU is highly recommended.

NOTE: AmiPhone is not compatible with I-Phone or any other 
      Internet-phone type program at this time.     

New in version 1.7:
     - Added the IDLERATE startup argument.
     * The session key transmission *still* didn't work right.  Now 
       it's fixed.  Honest!
     * Fixed the "Hold To Transmit" mode, which broke under v1.70.
     * Made the About requesters a bit prettier.
     * Made the Graphics Daemon code a bit less thread-unsafe.
     * Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the sampler not to return
       to its idle frequency when sound stopped.
