Short: Dreamscape Remix by Triumph! The demo ended up in 2nd place. The previous release had support for some graphics boards, notably it worked perfectly on Cybervision/64 cards and even some Piccolo SD64 cards. Now, on popular demand, the support for other boards using Cybergraphics has been improved. As far as I know, this demo is the only one with true CyberGraphics support around, and it looks real cool too imho :-). The archive contains just a new version of the main executable file. In other words, you must have Dreamscape already installed on your hd to use it. It's free dl! To install, just copy the new executable into the directory where you have installed Dreamscape. Requirements: Any amiga with 68020+ & KS 39+ Recommended: Amiga 1200 with 030/50, 4mb fastram. Tested on: Most configs from plain A1200 (yawn) to A4000/060/CV64. So what's new? -------------- New cybergraphics features: - Supports all boards in 8 bit grey mode - Supports all boards with a 32 bit ARGB mode in full color - Much faster in grey mode - Slightly faster in full color mode - Double buffering - Does not need Amiga output at all anymore - New 1x1 and 2x2 modes Other new features: - Now enables all caches on startup. Nice if you start the demo from a fresh boot (why?). This may be turned off with the "-nocc" option. - Rewrote the text routine and loading routines. - Double buffering in ECS mode - New 1x1 and 2x2 modes Bugfixes: - Removed a horrible timing bug in the AGA 8 bit grey mode. If "-maxspeed" was not used, the speed could be halved. - Removed a display bug in the "Atom rotator" part. First frame was wrong.
