 1. Introduction
 ===============

  1.1 Legal stuff
  ---------------

   MM_MultiSend is a multi-purpose message-posting tool for Mail Manager by Pino
   Aliberti.

   Nearly all should be configurable as you like it, but of course you should
   know what you are doing, 'cause you can cause tons of mail with it :-)

   The programs and files in this distribution are freely distributable, but are
   also Copyright (c) Robert Hofmann. They may be freely distributed as long as
   no more than a nominal fee is charged to cover time and copying costs.

   No commercial usage is permitted without written permission from the author
   Everything in this distribution must be kept together, in original unmodified
   form.

   MM_MultiSend is mailware :-). This means if you use it, please write me a
   short mail. You know, it is frustrating to write programs and there are no
   responses from the users if they like it or not...

   Accepting these few points is the only condition for using MM_MultiSend...

   =============================================================================
   The author is not responsible for any problems caused by using this program!

  1.2 General stuff
  -----------------

   I am not the best in writing doc, but quiet good in coding I think :-) This
   docs are a bit short I have to appolognize, but I hope you'll understand it
   anyway... Especially my English and the typo's ;-)

   If there is anybody out there who is able to & wants translate the docs to
   his own language, please do so and send them to me! I'll add them to the next
   release. Also translators always will get the newest betas! ;-)

   Unfortunatly I don't have the will & time to translate my docs even to German
   - my time is better used for coding :-)

 2. Features
 ===========

   MM_MultiSend...

     ... is able to generate Carbon-Copies (netmails)
     ... is able to generate Cross-Postings (echomails)
     ... can combine all features above, means you can send the same file in one
         cfg as net- & echomail with or without CC:/CP:-header
     ... can get names by the used addresses
     ... can totally be setup via configs or my manual input

   MM_MultiSendGUI...

     ... is a fine MM-GUI for MM_MultiSend
     ... is able to execute MM_MultiSend with selection of the available cfgs
     ... is able to generate cfgs for MM_MultiSend
     ... is able to edit the cfgs of MM_MultiSend
     ... is able to run MM_MultiSend without adding new cfg-parts
     ... offers a convenient way of multiple address-selection
     ... offers a convenient way of multiple area-selection

 3. Installation
 ===============

  1. Copy the files to the corresponding MM:*/-directories.

  2. Strip all unnecessery parts for you from the cfg :-)

 4. Usage
 ========

  [RX] MM_MultiSend <Cfg-Part-Name>, [MsgFile], [Subject]

    Cfg-Part-Name This is the cfg used for the posting (see 5. #NAME).

    MsgFile Use this file instead of the configured one. If no MsgFile is
                   given in the cfg, you MUST enter a valid filename here!

    Subject Use this subject instead of the configured one. If non is
                   given, you MUST enter a subject here!

  [RX] MM_MultiSendGUI [CFG|DIRECT|EDIT|EXEC]

     <options> If you'll directly enter a keyword, you won't get the selec-
                   tions-requester (see 6.).

 5. Configuration
 ================

  Please take a close look in the example config!

  #NAME    <name>

             An id for the entry.

  AddInfo  <mode, ...>

             CarbonCopy adds CC:-info (names of receivers) to the msg.
             Crossposted adds CP:-info (areas where the msg was posted to the
                            msg.

             This parameter is optional.

  MsgFile <File, where the msgtext comes from>, [Options]

             If this line is not given, it has to be entered in the cmd-line!

             DELETE If this option is given, the file will be deleted after it
                      was posted.

  Export This token tells MM_Multisend to export the areas after posting the
           msgs.

  From     <from name>

             If no from-line is given, #DEFSYSOPNAME will be used.

  FromAddr <addr>

             Use this address instead of the area-addr.

  Origin   <origin>

             If this line is given, you can set the msg-origin, otherwise MM
             will choose the origin.

  Subject  <msg-subject>

             If this line is not given, it has to be entered in the cmd-line!

  To       <name>, [address], <area>, [flags]

             In MAILAREAS the address is obsolete, otherwise it will be ignored.
             If there is an address present and no name, MM_Multisend will try
             to find the sysop in the nodelist and use this name.

             If <name> is a file, MM_MultiSend will read the infos from a file,
             using the same syntax like To itself, but without the leading "To".

             Multiple lines/files are possible!

  Example:
  --------

   #NAME   NewFiles
   MsgFile Tmp:NewFiles.1day,       DELETE
   Subject Professional Amiga: Neue Files
   Origin Professional Amiga - ISDN Multiline - Mail only
   To      Alle,,!PA_NEWFILES,      KILL
   To      Alle,,AMIREQUEST.GER,    KILL
   To      Alle,,ANNOUNCE.2490,     KILL
   To      Alle,,ANNOUNCE.024,      KILL
   To      Alle,,FRANKEN.ANNOUNCES, KILL
   To      Alle,,AMY_NEWFILES.GER,  KILL
   Export

 6. The GUI - MM_MultiSendGUI
 ============================

  MM_MultiSendGUI is just a more convinient way to use MM_MultiSend. It offers
  you five buttons (if you'll start it with no options :-)

  "Add NEW Cfg" If you select this point, you can enter all parts of the cfg
                  by convenient requesters. There's not much to say about, just
                  read 5. carefully :-)

  "Edit Cfg" This will just launch your editor with MM_MultiSend.cfg, so
                  that you can edit it.

  "Execute" Selecting this will scan MM_MultiSend.cfg for all cfg-parts
                  and let you decide which one you will use. It also asks you
                  about the file and the subject.

  "Direct Exec" This point is a combination of "Add NEW Cfg" and "Execute" but
                  WITHOUT adding anything to MM_MultiSend.cfg. It is just for
                  one go.

  "Quit"          Quit MM_MultiSendGUI.

 7. Future
 =========

  This depends on you. Maybe I will implement uu*code & PGP-check, but only if I
  will be asked to do so ;-)

  Please report me all bug and suggestions, so that we can develope MM to the
  best FTN-software on the Amiga.

 8. Acknowledgements
 ===================

  Pino Aliberti For his EXCELLENT Mail Manager! For implementing nearly all
                    I wanted (this was much work I think and delayed the release
                    of MM for some month ;-)) For our hard but fair fights in
                    MMBETA and at least for the nice note about me in the docs
                    8^))))

  Andreas Netscher For some good suggestions

  Kent Hansen For some good suggestions
