MOVIEGUIDE PRO V2.1 UPDATE - 5/12-1995 ====================================== The following bugs from V2.0f were fixed for this update: - MAJOR bug removed! Apparently, the program didn't work properly on all KS2.04 equipped machines, and would crash if a search resulted in more than one title! - A problem with the SEQUEL/PREQUEL/FEATURE/SERIAL function has been fixed. - An error in the conversion of the VMG rating has been fixed. This could show wrong ratings (+/- 1/2 star) on quite a few movies - both on screen and on a printout. - The graphical position of the OSCARS + VMG RATING should now be more precise. - The DEFAULT PUB SCREEN option at startup, should now work properly on a Kickstart 2.x machine. - If you'd chosen a fontsize that didn't exist, but had to be scaled, the program would crash when choosing a new screenmode/loading a layout. - Some pictures shown on their own screen would have an ugly screenbar present on their screen - it has been removed. - Sometimes when closing the PLOT SUMMARY window, the PLOT button on the control panel would be turned off, even though a plot exists on the current title. - Printout of movie-lists didn't print in the correct order - it always printed out the list, as the movies were found, and NOT as they appeared on screen! Also the printout could cause a crash, when printing some filmographies! - The program could crash when you wanted to see information on the last movie in a genre - just try "Zorry, The Gay Blade" in Comedy! - A bug in the browser could make it list the same title over and over again, if it's the last in a genre! - A couple of other things have been fixed! ADDITIONS/CHANGES ================= Some extra information has been added, called TECHNICAL INFO! This info will show up in the RELATED INFO window like TRIVIA/GOOFS/QUOTES - it uses the same window for output as trivia, goofs and quotes. As a consequence of this new item beeing added, the "TRIVIA/GOOFS/QUOTES" menu-item has been renamed to "MISC. INFORMATION"! Read more in the ADDENDUM.DOC file also on this disk! Last, thanks to all users who've reported bugs in the program!! / Simon Ravn
