This is my "all new" WorkBench, a little smarter than the previous one, this time running at 256 colors, thanks to CyberGraphics software which allows me to open fast and colorful screens using my rather old GVP Spectrum board. In this snapshot you can see some useful programs working, such as TinyMeter, ToolManager, MUIMousoMeter, BrowserII (no need for Dopus when you own a tool like this !), and a little pic of me (it's rather old, but my digitizer has gone a long ago :(, anyway now I'm loooots uglier !). The wonderful looking window gadgets are created by UrouHack (find it on Aminet, util/boot, and give it a try), which blasted sysihack as soon as it was released ;) The icons are a mix of MWB and Iconographics (I turned most of these in ToolManager Docks, i love their colors !), the window pattern is from the Iconographics package too while the screen one is an artwork by my mom (don't you even think about laughing !): i asked her for some patterns, she booted up her plain A1200 and brought me a floppy full of that stuff ! The "beast" running all this stuff is my pride: A4000/040 18M Ram, 540 + 120 HD GVP Spectrum 24 bit board GVP SeriesII SCSI-II board Toshiba 4101 CD-ROM HighScreen 15" Multisync Monitor USRobotics Courier + Sportster V34 Modems All of this running AmigaOS 3.1, or Macintosh System 7.5.1, or Net-BSD 1.1: The choice is at boot-time ! ;) No need for repeating once again that: "In this world of lame PeeCees, AMIGA RULEZ !!! Now and forever" I'd like to thank the authors of ALL the programs i mentioned above, along with all of you who downloaded this picture. If you want to send me some comment, or anything else, my address is: a.d'urso@agora.stm.it You'll be welcome ! Greetings, Alberto D'Urso (LaGuardia)
