As you understand, this version is stripped a bit to encourage you to register your copy, and receive full happiness of your NT Pro system. Below we state what's stripped in this version: ----------------------------------------------- * You CAN and MAY not run NT Pro serial if not registered. If you, even though, try, we take no resposibility for whatever may happen to your system. (Observe this!) We've included NTSer just because you should have the whole package if you consider register your copy, and you will then have to receive only the NTPROKEY file. * Upload/Download is shut off. * Max 3 users, 3 meetings and 3 file areas. Except from this, everything should be included, and work. Localy, you may experiment with NT Pro for how long you whould want to. You may also spread and copy the archive with this SW-version as long as it is in an unmodified shape and nothing has been changed therein. It may also be part of eventual collection/series-disks as Fred Fish's as long as the archive is complete and not modified in any matter. How mush does the registration cost? ------------------------------------ At the moment, the price is $60 for foreign buyers (Ie. Outside Sweden). You pay by sending the money (no checks! What will I get when/if i register? ----------------------------------- * A keyfile which is specific for YOU. It will unlock all functions of NT Pro and removes all limitations mentioned above. * A printed out documentation. * A disk with the latest version of the software. * Full support 24 hrs/day, both voice and through NT Pro's support-BBS! * All futher versions of NT Pro are free! You download them from our support-site or any BBS near you. The same goes for utilities, doors and such which also are free for downloading at GAZ BBS. * You will also be a member of a very happy gang of NT Pro-dudes who do our best to help eachother solving problems, giving ideas about changes/features in the software etc. * Fast development! The last year, we've released about 1 new version for every month. We work very hard on the software, and because we are two freaks doing this thing, the development never stands still! As quick as we receive your payment, we send you the latest version of NT Pro (the same day if nothing else is agreed!). Everything will be packed in a nice big envelope, including documentation, a disk and sometimes an enclosure for the documentation. Our future plans ---------------- At the moment, we're working hard on implementing FidoNet in NT Pro. Support for an external mailer (TrapDoor type) is already made and is working in the version you've just received. When this *HUGE* project will be done, we don't know for sure, but we will work hard on it in the near future! How fast do we fix bugs in the software? ---------------------------------------- No program is 100% free of bugs, we've experienced, neither is NT Pro! Sometimes it happens that a letter-bug has sneaked into the soruce and thereby a release-version may include it. As fast as it is reported, we sit down and priority it to 100%, and we do ALWAYS fix it within 1-2 days (so we have this far!). If it's a big problem, it may take one or two weeks, but it hasn't happened yet anyway. Please feel free to talk to other NT Pro sysops around, about our support, and ask if they are satisfied or not.
