Dear HHsFastImageFXModule user!

As supplementation of the fast loader module a fast saver
module is now included (currently only with few formats).
Both modules are using the same keyfile, so that you
can use future versions of the modules as updates.
Please look out for new versions e.g. on AmiNet...

In the main directory of the disk you can find the modules
in the current version archived as "fastifxmodules.lha".
Copy the modules (after unpacking with any lha compatible
unpacker) into the modules/loaders and modules/savers
directiry of ImageFX or ImageFX-EGS. The archive also
contains a current .readme file with information about
the supported image file formats or other news.

For all kind of raytracing pictures I recommend to try
the new file formats (developed by me) "HHsTRL24"
(for 24Bit pictures) or "HHsMRL" (for pictures with
2 to 256 colors). The formats offer (as long as the
pictures are not dithered) usually surprisingly high
compression rates with lossless compression (usually
20% to 50% better than IFF24Bit or Targa24). The formats
are not only supported by the ImageFX module but also
by EGSPhotoAlbum and EGS-TV. For 24Bit pictures you can
also use a slightly lossy format (with usually invisible
losses) and slightly improved compression.

To use the modules as full version (and thus make loading
and saving of pictures in colors possible)  you have to
install the included keyfile "hhsloaderkey.library" by
copying into your LIBS: directory. This keyfile must not
be distributed and may only be used on one computer
at the same time.

For future development of the modules it is neccessary
that many ImageFX users register for them. By spreading
the demo archive as far as possible you can help to make
this possible. New demo versions can be used as full
versions due to the keyfile concept. Normally all
improvements on loaders in EGSPhotoAlbum Professional
and EGS-TV will also be ported to the fast modules.
New versions can be found usually on AmiNet (with some
delay also on CD-ROMs). Many BBSs mirror files from AmiNet.
New versions might also appear on PD disks of the
SaarPD disk series.
