To use this Instead of your own Method simply RENAME (As you may not
want to keep my setup) your BBS:FCheck directory to sumting else Copy
the FCHECK directory includided in this archive into your BBS:
Directory replacing your old FCHECK, Thats it NastyDupCheck is
installed.

 Now Edit the ToolTypes in your NODE(x) Directory Icons and ADD
 FILESNOTALLOWED=BBS:Fcheck/Checkers/UpLoadList
 Now when you upload a file it will be added to above filelist

 Adding your Dir(x) listings to UpLoadList @{"AddDirs.cli" link "AddDirs" 0} Utility

in this Dir are all the Scripts & files needed to use NastyDupCheck
also you will find 2 Rexx programs @{b}@{u}AddDirs.rex@{ub}@{uu}x & @{b}@{u}AddFile.rex@{ub}@{uu}x

@{b}@{u}AddFile.rexx@{ub}@{uu} is the rexx program that adds all new uploads into the
uploadlist.

@{b}@{u}AddDirs.rexx@{ub}@{uu} is the rexx program that adds your dir(x) files to the
uploadlist.

 USAGE for AddDirs.Rexx 
 Rx @{b}AddDirs.Rexx@{ub} BBS:{conference}/{Dir(X)}
 Example.. 
 Rx @{b}AddDirs.Rexx BBS:Conferences/Amiga/Dir1@{ub}
 Would Add ALL files uploaded in Dir1 list into the Uploadlist BUT
 using the supplied @{b}AddDirs.CLI@{ub} Dos script to do this is easier.

 @{b}AddDirs.Cli@{ub} can be started like any other dos script file and should
 have its S bit set so you can start it like anyother command/program

The number of advantages for using this are vast here i list the most
important...........

 Because it checks AS the upload Starts or as the name of the upload
 is recieved.

 What will it STOP------ User list first

 1-Nuked for Uploading A dup file
 2-Time Wasted online uploding files already recieved
 3-MONEY on length of call
 4-Time waiting for DUPCHECKER to finish checking Dir(x) files

 Whys it better for sysop------

 1-Never have to delete a Dup file
 2-No dupe files in your holds saving HardDrive room
 3-Users online for shorter periods & NO NODES recieving files
   already recieved, some files can be as big as 2Meg and take
   quite a long time to transfer.  My method keeps this sort of
   wasted BBS time down to an absolute mininimum 99% of Uploads
   will be NEW and not Old Duplicated files. RENAMES still get
   through, SoRRY cant stop this but i have a method that im
   working on but again this will be a DupChecker type of utility
   that needs to scan the dir(x) files after an upload...
 4-Users will notice that your bbs has virtualy no Duplicates and so
   will prefer to call your bbs.

So as you can see there are lots of reasons for using this method hope
you find it as usefull as MySelf & Various other sysops in and around
the Manchester Area.

 I Created this Utility pack for our EXCLUSIVE Use and never intended
to release it into the public but sysops have asked us for it as there
users have said that our bbs is better than theres in this area and
were all complaing about the time dupChecker was taking on there BBS.

So Use it if you like and dont if you dont it was created for our use
and if you dont like it then let your users suffer DupChecks for
eternity sooner or later your users will get fed up with it no matter
how FAST you CPU is, then they will either STOP calling your bbs or
Never upload many files........ CAN you AFFORD NOT To USE IT...
