Introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~

     Ever wanted to boost up your DupeChecker? Then this util might be

      your solution. It strips all the date and description from the

          /X FileLists into a file that contains only FileNames.



   FileList Compressor v1.0 is a 100% C program, for maximum efficiency.


System Requirements
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

        A500(+), A600, A1200, A2000, A2500, A3000, A4000
                       With KickStart 2.0 or higher.

         (tested on A4000 25MHz and 6MB of RAM and KICKSTART 40.55
                              -> works fine)

            (tested on A2000 G-Force 40MHz and 8 MB 32 Bit RAM
                              -> works fine)

          (tested on A2000 1MB RAM no accelerator with KICK 2.05
                              -> works fine)

           (tested on A 500 3MB RAM with KICK 1.3 and KICK 2.05
                              -> works fine)



Usage from the Shell
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

PROMPT> Compressor (executable 4900 bytes) FileList OutPutFile


EXAMPLE: Compressor bbs:amiga/dir1 ram:New.dir1



Future improvements
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

                            Mainly more speed.

These improvements will mostly depend on the needs of Compressor users.
