HYDRA FOR NCOMM THE SIMPLE WAY. Instead of downloading a 400k file this is enough. OKI fellas... This is VERY easy... 1. Copy the files in this archieve into the your NCOMM dir. 2. Edit the hydra.script so it fits your machine. 3. Remember to assign NCOMM. 4. Click on the SHARED option in the COM menu in NCOMM. 5. Try to start up your new HYDRA. If it doesn't work check your paths. 6. Now call up a BBS supporting HYDRA. Remember to change your config on the BBS. Just type W and edit your protocol. 7. When you have flagged the files you will download press return and when it says: LAST CHANCE! (Enter) to Start, (G)oodbye after transfer, (A)bort? Hit F10 (or just execute the script). Now you select the files you want to upload and click on OK. THEN YOU MUST PRESS RETURN. Now you should be uploading and downloading at the same time. Use 'Toggle Chat' if you like to tell the SYSOP how cool you are etc. When your xfer has finished just exit HYDRA. NOTE: The F10 only works if you use the keyfile with this .lha package. If you wish to install the scrips on another key, here is the macro: {script}NCOMM:Scripts/Hydra.script NOTE 2: HYDRA works best with v32, V32. bis, V32. terbo, V.FC and V.34 Using 28.800 V.FC or V.34 you should be able to up/download with 3300 cps. On a text file this means a max. of 10944 cps each direction. One final note: If you wish to exercise your new HYDRA feel free to call Denmarks fastest and coolest BBS, widely known as: PLASTIC PASSION CSL EHQ (+45) 98 23 84 13
