Because fMSX runs far too fast on 68060, special code is necessary to slow it down to normal MSX speeds. The archive contains two versions: fMSX, and fMSX060. Of these two versions, fMSX is the fastest. It runs without any speed limitations (but unlike the 'turbo' versions of other emulators, it doesn't cut any corners). This is the version you should use for most games. However, if a game is unplayably fast you may want to switch to fMSX060. This version runs at a very accurate speed, compared to a real MSX. The additional synchronization code of the fMSX060 also allows it to reproduce digitized MSX speech with great accuracy (if your CPU is fast enough to begin with). There is a known bug in fMSX060 that causes dramatic slow down in some games. If that happens, switch to the normal version. I'll try to fix it later. Hans Guijt
